Prior Servicer Adjustment Job Aid

  1. Select Account Services in the Department field.
  2. Select Adjustments in the Group field.
  3. Select Prior Servicer Adjustment in the Request Type field.
  4. Add the applicable loan number.
    Note: The Customer should automatically appear in the Customer field once the loan number is entered.
  5. Select the applicable Customer Type from the Customer Type dropdown menu.
  6. Click Save and Close.
    Note: The case should now be created.
  7. Add the description in the free-form Description box.
    Note: The description should include a short explanation of the incorrect past actions taken and the correct location that the funds should be sent to.
  8. Navigate to the Attachments widget.
  9. Complete the following substeps to add an attachment:
    1. Click the Choose File button.
    2. Select the appropriate prior servicer history from File Explorer.
    3. Click the blue Upload button.
      Note: Users must click the Upload button in the widget upon selecting their file. If not, the file will not be uploaded.
    4. Proceed to the next step.
  10. Click Submit.
  11. End process.
